Every year, CAMELEON's "Mission Sociale France" raises awareness among children about their rights in the protection against violence including on the internet and social media platforms. During the school year 2021-2022, we conducted 122 workshops in different schools in Ile-de-France region to more than 1,800 children and teachers.
Our pedagogical approach
We offer 4 thematic workshops for children from first grade to high school on:
This approach is playful and interactive through games, quizzes, discussions and role playing. It encourages children to be participative in their education for citizenship and international solidarity to promote commitment for their rights as stakeholders in the society.
Start of the " Youth Advocates" program
In 2022, CAMELEON launched its " Youth Advocates " program in Aulnay-Sous-Bois to involve the children in the prevention of violence through peer to peer. Raising of awareness about children’s rights and different forms of violence was supervised by adult facilitators to 300 young people in two middle schools.
Following the workshops, 19 students were selected as advocates in their respective schools to implement solidarity and citizenship actions in their community. The young advocates selected will be trained in the prevention and fight against discrimination, and public speaking.

On July 20, it is the celebration of GlobalGiving July Bonus Day. Each donation above 100$ will be matched, hence the higher the amount you give, the more donation CAMELEON will receive. For example, a $500 donation will be matched at 40% while a $1,000 will be at 50%. This will further our mission and actions in the prevention of violence and promotion of children’s rights.
