The period between June and September 2026 was marked by the end of the school year and the preparation of the new school year. Throughout this period, CAMELEON continued to expand its prevention initiatives targeting children, families, and professionals.
The beginning of the summer was devoted to strengthening the team’s capacity. Two members of the prevention team were trained to become future adult trainers. This work helped consolidate educational content, standardize intervention practices, and prepare for the rollout of new prevention initiatives across all areas of operation.
In parallel, the organization participated in a neighborhood party, co-organized with the local community center. This created opportunities for the prevention team to talk about children’s rights and violence prevention with the local residents. This initiative raised awareness among nearly 100 children and their family members.
This period also marked the launch of CAMELEON’s training program for professionals working in child protection teams, rolled out in the Parisian region and in South-West France. Four training sessions were held between June and September, raising awareness and giving tools to 85 professionals. Two sessions focused on the prevention of online sexual violence brought together 44 social workers. The two other sessions were organized for volunteers from the organization “La Voix de l’Enfant” and school aides, with a total of 41 participants.
The summer was also a period of essential groundwork for the organization. The team focused on drafting annual reports and activity reports, updating educational materials, preparing for the start of the school year, and developing its evaluation methods. As part of this effort, Deloitte employees partnered with CAMELEON to strengthen its impact measurement process and assist the organization in analyzing the effects of its prevention initiatives.
The start of the school year in September marked the return of programs for children with the launch of the first prevention initiatives in partner schools. Seven workshops were held at elementary and middle schools, raising awareness among 155 children about children’s rights, respect for oneself and others, and the prevention of violence, including sexual violence.
Finally, the month of September was largely devoted to preparing for the 2026–2027 school year through numerous discussions with schools and partner organizations. This work led to the renewal of eight existing partnerships and the development of ten new collaborations, notably with several middle schools in Paris. These new partnerships will help expand access to prevention programs for new children and adolescents over the coming year.
These advances strengthen CAMELEON’s ability to offer interventions that are increasingly tailored to the needs of children, families, and the professionals who support them. In total, more than 340 children, families, and professionals were directly reached during this period, while numerous new projects were planned for the 2026–2027 school year.
