Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” – Hope is a powerful thing. It inspires us to do the impossible and helps us carry on during difficult times. And hope can come in many different shapes and forms. It may be through our favorite music, or a good book, or even by listening to our favorite thought leaders, hope can also come in the form of a building , a centre of rescue a centre of hope and that is what Community Focus Group is building!
Violence against women is perhaps the most widespread and socially tolerated human rights violation, cutting across borders, race, class, ethnicity, and religion, The Community Focus Group proposed centre is expected to offer medical, legal, and psychological support to victims of sexual and gender-based violence this will instill the power of hope in the survivors.
We still have a long way to go in raising the funds , dollar by dollar , but we are hopefull that soon we will be able to start purchasing materials with the amounts that have been made available, We have a lot of hope that we will be able to build this centre of Hope especially for GBV survivors.
