Dear Supporters,
Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to focus on vision health, providing eye tests for 200 children last month. Our outreach team, in partnership with medical professionals, visited children across South Africa, identifying early eye problems and referring those in need to specialists.
In addition to the eye tests, we also educated the children and their parents about the importance of good health, hygiene, hand washing, healthy eating, and staying active. We are delighted to see the positive impact of these outreach activities, with families taking up healthier habits such as walking and setting up small vegetable patches at home.
While we recognize the need for urgent medical supplies, we also see the long-term benefits of these preventative measures. Over the past three months, we have spent around $2,000 on our outreach activities. This investment will result in significant savings in future medical care costs, particularly in townships with limited healthcare facilities.
We aim to have more medical professionals visit schools and centers. However, we need your continued support to make this possible. Your donations can help us extend our reach and continue these vital services.
