Dear Friends,
In October of last year with all your donations we was able to run a community vision and hearing testing outreach event for children in a township that has no medical clinics or support. It was a really well turned out event and we tested over 200 children with 24 referals.
At the event we bring in specialists to offer testing and with your donations we fund their costs to attend the event, equipment needed then we market the event within the community and offer everyone a hotdog and drink for attending as we know often these community members don't eat.
The children that failed the testing again with your donations we have been able to send them for further testing and we have funded glasses and hearing aids for those that need it.
We have such a successful event and we are looking to raise funds to do many more like this in 2024.
