Our quarter two report is attached.
It highlights the progress made by partnering with a local CBO in Mombasa called Akili Mali Associates. We were able to train more facilitators, and reach more Vijana(Teens) and Watoto (Children).The participants continue to become more understanding and respectful of each other’s circumstances and opinions and felt comfortable opening up and sharingabout their pasts without fear of being judged or looked down upon. This also boosted the CKs’ and RFs’ morale and the motivation to help the young peoplein their communities who were also in need of this intervention. Most individuals noted, by the end of the ToT, major excitement to get started on the Programmes and apply theirnewly gained knowledge.
