Mentee Julieta said: "Nor Luyce has armed me with various skills that I can use in different places. Once I had the chance to use the gained knowledge in a camp. All my peers were surprised with my skills and wanted me to share more things with them. I really felt good. I am proud of being a part of this amazing family, who always try to develop and train our skills. I am very grateful to Nor Luyce staff.”
During these past 3 months, mentees continued taking part in computer classes and use the learned skills. With the support of Scholarship phase mentees, 18 mentees of Skill Building phase have prepared individual papers on different topics, such as Nature; The USA; Solar System; Armenian famous writers; Fashion; Oceans; sightseeing of Armenia etc. Due to the knowledge gained from computer classes, our mentees can study easily and more productive than their peers.
Another mentee mentioned: ''I am so satisfied with my research paper. I got the highest grade at school. My teacher praised me for the good work. I want to thank Nor Luyce staff for their passionate work and love towards us”.
During the last 3 months, 6 meetings out of scheduled 6 were held for the mentees. They learned how to navigate the internet safely, make individual papers and PPT's and use it practically.
The resource center was used not only by the mentees but also by mentors and other volunteers.
From November to January mentees used resource center to write course works, research papers, individual papers. They could search for the necessary information to make individual meetings more productive and interesting, make videos for mentees and PPT's for their classes.
In total during these several months, Nor Luyce provided 194.5 hours of computer class and usage to 58 mentees, 22 mentors, and 6 volunteers.
