Beyond Internet Access: New Opportunities for Learning

In rural communities across Argentina, having access to a reliable internet connection means much more than bringing technology into a school. It means expanding opportunities to teach, learn, and connect with the world.

Through Conectá por Argentina, an initiative led by Enseñá por Argentina, we work to bridge the digital divide in educational communities that have historically faced significant barriers to internet access.

But connectivity is only the beginning. Its true value emerges when teachers and students begin using it to explore new tools, discover different approaches, and enrich their learning experiences.

At Technical School No. 12 in Sierra Grande, Río Negro, teacher Elías Fernandes shares how this experience has helped him introduce new approaches in his classroom:

"This experience was incredibly valuable and enriching. It gave me the opportunity to experiment, have fun, and learn. I explored new platforms and teaching tools in my classroom, which helped me increase student engagement and participation."

This perspective is echoed by Hugo Cáceres, a school principal:

"Thanks to the program, we are incorporating new resources into our classrooms to improve the quality of our students' learning. It allows us to discover new ways of teaching and working. We are very grateful."

These experiences remind us that the impact of connectivity goes far beyond installing a satellite dish. It can be seen in teachers discovering new ways to teach, students becoming more actively engaged, and schools expanding what is possible in their classrooms.
