Prime Trust together with Vel dental clinic organized a free dental camp for the people at Rainbow Nagar and TV Nagar today. Regular dental visits are important because they help to keep our teeth and gums healthy. Dental check-ups prevent plaque, tartar, cavities, and tooth decay. Routine dental visits keep gum disease at bay.
The camp started at 10 am and ended at 1:30 pm. One of the doctors demonstrated the way of brushing our teeth. The individuals were given dental check-ups, the doctors gave the information regarding the precautions and the regular dental care to be taken, and those needing treatment (cleaning, scaling, etc.) were given the needed treatment in the mobile van. Some people were referred to the Vel dental clinic. About 65 people benefitted from the camp - children, women, and men. The participants were given free toothbrushes and toothpaste. The staff was given a free dental kit with toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrush, gum gel, etc.
