First Aid session for the children
First aid is an important tool in quickly responding to accidents to ensure that injuries can be efficiently and promptly dealt with before a trained medical professional arrives to administer more specialized treatment. First aid in schools is especially helpful as children often get into accidents that can need swift care in order to prevent things from escalating.
On 29.05.2023 the MSW intern from the Rajagiri College of Social sciences, Kerela conducted a session about basic First-aid for the students of evening schools in Muthialpet and Rainbow Nagar and for the girls in Janani Home. The session included primary and secondary first-aid, the DRABC method, choking and burning injuries, and how to deal with emergencies.
