All of us here at Olalo of Hope- Kenya cannot Thank You enough for your amazing support for Food and Home Relief for Families due to COVID 19. Many family homes have been saved and food has filled tables.
With over 340 food deliveries now made, burdens on families have been lessened.
Too often we hear about families who have only one parent still working amid the virus shutdowns, but working without pay, or having their salary cut in half.
Businesses close and let staff go…no one else is hiring, and they are left without any sources of income.
To make matters worse, in some cases due to the curfew hours set by the government, some workers can’t get home in time before curfew starts and risk getting put into jail if caught. Many are forced to leave their jobs and search for something closer to home. It puts many families into impossible situations.
But thanks to your generosity, many rents have been caught up and food delivered to hungry families.
As long as COVID continues to spread throughout the country, new families will be faced with these same challenges. With your support these needs will be met Thank you for sending hope, food and rent to those who are truly so grateful for your support.
