Your support has helped to lessen the impacts of COVID-19 on many families and individuals.
Your support has kept families fed, and in many cases prevented families from eviction and becoming homeless.
While COVID cases have subsided, the effects of it still impact families. Jobs lost, businesses permanently closed or struggling to keep their doors open and not paying their employees... it impacts their employees and trickles down to the entire community.
Helping families with food and covering rent arrears gives them time to regroup and seek out better ways to cover these life expenses without the burden of eviction or hunger weighing heavily upon them.
You have supplied tangible things, but more importantly you have provided them with HOPE and TIME.
Hope of finding new ways to support their families, and the Time to move forward and find it.
