Children and Education in Argentina

Disparities in quality of education across Argentina:

Where children live, their gender, and economic origin affect the quality of education they will have access to 50% of teens attend regular high school and successfully complete it

Reasons they drop out:

Entering the labor market, financial difficulties to study, pregnancy/ taking care of younger siblings.

Economic Crisis

Increased unemployment leads to an increase in violence and illegal trade

Poverty rate among children in 2019: 57%
Poverty Rate among children in 2020: 62.9%
