It gives me immense pleasure that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is constantly and continuously helping the affectees of lockdown due to COVID-19. At present, Pakistan is in the grip of the second wave of COVID-19. Though there have been lesser deaths during the last few months the infectivity rate has gone up to 7% & more than 7,000 persons have died so far.
CHCS is continuing its campaign of spreading awareness among the people regarding preventing measures and now to avoid Corona Virus infection. In this regard, the masks and Sanitizers are being distributed among the masses. With the start of the winter season, CHCS has started the distribution of quilts and warm clothes among the poor community.
Moreover, medical camps are being arranged to cause awareness and provide treatment in case of minor ailments. The welfare hospitals and clinics established by CHCS are causing awareness about COVID-19 and also providing treatment for minor ailments.
It is, therefore, requested to the global donors to donate generously in this difficult time and help CHCS in minimizing the effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
