It gives me immense pleasure that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is constantly and continuously helping the affectees of lockdown due to COVID-19. At present, Pakistan is in the grip of the third wave of COVID-19. Though there have been lesser deaths during the first two waves, however, this wave seems to be more drastic and is spreading at a very fast pace. In order to minimize the effect of this 3rd wave, GoP has announced lockdown once again in major cities of Pakistan. Resultantly, daily wages people are once again on the verge of facing shortage of daily ration for their families.
In order to address this very issue, CHCS along with continuing its campaign of spreading awareness among the people regarding preventing measures and now to avoid Corona Virus infection also distributing monthly ration to the families affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. Moreover, masks and Sanitizers are also being distributed among the masses.
Moreover, medical camps are being arranged to cause awareness and provide treatment in case of minor ailments. The welfare hospitals and clinics established by CHCS are causing awareness about COVID-19 and also providing treatment for minor ailments.
It is, therefore, requested to the global donors to donate generously in this difficult time and help CHCS in minimizing the effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
