It gives me immense pleasure that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is constantly and continuously helping the affectees of COVID-19. At present, Pakistan has just gone through the third wave of COVID-19. Though there have been fewer deaths in this third wave (owing to the vaccination drive of GoP), however, the danger of COVID-19 is not over yet.
During the last three months, hospitals of Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) continued providing treatment to the patients of COVID-19 and also conducted awareness sessions for patients (in particular) and public (in general) regarding importance and efficacy of vaccination against COVID-19. Moreover, people were also informed regarding preventive measures that can be effective against COVID-19.
Furthermore, CHCS also provided the relief goods (including ration, aftaris, eid clothes) among the families of daily wagers who were affected most by the COVID-19 lockdown during the third wave.
In order to continue with it, CHCS requests the global donors to donate generously in this difficult time and help CHCS in minimizing the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.
