Respected Donors,

Seasons Greetings...!

It is of immense pleasure that Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) has continued providing care and welfare to COVID-19 affectees in previous quarter as well as Pakistan has just gone through the fourth wave of COVID-19. Though there have been fewer deaths in fourth wave (owing to the door-to-door vaccination drive of GoP), however, the danger of COVID-19 is not over yet.

During the last three months, apart from providing daily food to the unemployed labor of rural areas of Pakistan, hospitals of Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) continued providing treatment to the patients of COVID-19 and also conducted awareness sessions for patients (in particular) and public (in general) regarding importance and efficacy of vaccination against COVID-19. Furthermore, CHCS also provided the relief goods (including medicines, dry ration, warm clothes etc.) among the families of daily wagers who were affected most by the COVID-19 lockdown.

Moreover, in line with its vision of extending relief to humanity in distress across the globe, CHCS sent numerous trucks carrying relief goods (i.e., medicines, dry ration and warm clothes) to the war torn neighbouring country (Afghanistan) to minimize the sufferings of the Afghanis (especially the sufferings caused by COVID-19 pandemic).

In order to continue providing relief and welfare to COVID-19 affectees, CHCS requests the global donors to donate generously for this particular project so that maximum relief activities may be carried out for COVID-19 affectees.

Regards,

Asif Mahmood Jah
