Medical Facilities for the Affectees of COVID-19

Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is still looking after the families of those poor people who were affected by COVID-19 and lockdown during the pandemic. Moreover, medical facilities are also being provided to the families of affected persons through mobile medical camps and health care clinics of the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) established in different cities of Pakistan. Though the prevalence of COVID-19 has considerably reduced to 1% in Pakistan still number of patients has turned positive which requires immediate medical attention which is being provided by the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS).  

During the last three months, apart from providing daily food to the unemployed laborers in rural areas of Pakistan, hospitals of the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) continued providing treatment to the patients of COVID-19 and also conducted awareness sessions for patients (in particular) and public (in general) regarding importance and efficacy of vaccination against COVID-19. Furthermore, CHCS also provided relief goods (including medicines, dry ration, warm clothes etc.) among the families of daily wagers who were affected most by the COVID-19 lockdown.

More medical camps are being conducted in poor and remote areas of Pakistan on a regular basis in which food items, clothes, and cooked food are also distributed among the poor and needy.
