Medical Support for Families Affected by COVID-19
Dear Esteemed Donors,
Although COVID-19 has largely subsided, with active cases dropping to below 1% nationwide in 2025, its impact continues to linger across Pakistan. Families who lost loved ones, livelihoods, and savings during the pandemic are still struggling to rebuild their lives. The Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) remains steadfast in its commitment to provide both medical and humanitarian support during this post-pandemic recovery phase. Continued Medical Care CHCS medical centers and mobile clinics remain operational, ensuring access to essential healthcare for those who still face COVID-related complications, long-term effects, or other health needs aggravated during the crisis. Doctors, nurses, and community health workers continue to deliver free consultations, distribute medicines, and provide critical follow-up care for patients in underserved regions. Humanitarian Relief for Vulnerable Families Beyond healthcare, CHCS understands that the economic aftershocks of the pandemic persist. Daily wage workers, laborers, and families in rural areas remain among the hardest hit. To ease this burden, we organize relief distributions, providing food packages, clothing, and basic necessities. These interventions not only address hunger but also restore dignity to families who have endured prolonged hardship. Vaccination & Awareness Campaigns Despite the decline in new cases, vaccination drives and awareness sessions remain central to our mission. Misinformation and vaccine hesitancy still pose challenges in remote areas. Through health education campaigns, CHCS teams continue to build trust, promote preventive practices, and ensure that communities stay protected against future outbreaks. Looking Ahead With your unwavering support, CHCS is determined to continue this work—bridging healthcare gaps, sustaining relief programs, and ensuring that no family is left behind in the recovery journey. Each donation helps us keep mobile clinics running, expand outreach to rural areas, and provide hope where it is most needed. Together, we can move beyond survival and help families build stronger, healthier futures in a world shaped by the lessons of COVID-19.
Warm regards,
Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah
