By John Barrie | Founder, The Appropriate Technology Collaborative
Our Oxygen on Demand project has made good progress especially considering the level of funding we have reached. We have an ample supply of the zeolite material that sequesters oxygen from the atmosphere and we've aggregated all the parts necessary to make a very inexpensive oxygen concentrator.
Thank you so very much for your donation but we've not reached our minimal level of funding at this point to make a fully functioning prototype in our shop on our schedule. So, at this point we are going to be contributing what we have found to the larger Hackaday open source oxygen community. The information we've gathered so far and what we will continue to generate from this point forward will be used to support open source efforts to make oxygen, and to help publicize how to make oxygen to our community of Appropriate Technology designers and users in Latin America, India and the USA.
We are closing our GlobalGiving campaign but we will remain part of the larger oxygen on demand community.
Please feel free to contact me, John Barrie through the GlobalGiving contact link if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
John Barrie
