Radio remains one of the most powerful tools for reaching people in Ghana, especially in rural areas. This project will produce and air weekly radio programs that educate communities about cancer prevention, early detection, treatment options, and available support. Your support will help us broadcast lifesaving information to thousands of listeners across Ghana.
Many Ghanaians lack access to reliable cancer information. Myths, stigma, and misinformation are common, causing people to ignore early warning signs or turn to unsafe alternatives. Without accessible education, late diagnosis and preventable deaths continue to rise.
This project will produce radio programs featuring doctors, survivors, nurses, and community health experts who will discuss symptoms, prevention, screening, and the importance of early care. By broadcasting in local languages, we ensure that accurate information reaches diverse audiences where they are-right in their homes.
Regular radio education will improve public understanding of cancer, reduce stigma, promote early health-seeking behavior, and ultimately reduce cancer-related deaths across Ghana. Over time, millions will gain the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health.
