We’re excited to announce that we have a new full-time member.
Kotaro Chigira first joined Tansa as a student intern. He worked for four years at the national newspaper *Mainichi Shimbun* as a reporter and contributed to the digital strategy team.
This spring, he returned to Tansa. Chigira now leads our video production and design. He’s currently editing the videos titled "Testimony", which features interviews with labor union members as part of our ongoing series “Hostage Justice”. All available on YouTube, and we’re currently adding the English subtitles too.
In Japan, the mainstream media is aligned with investigative authorities and does not pursue this problem. Tansa will continue to bring this issue to light beyond national borders.
