Dear Friends,
Many women and children in Kosovo lack access to quality healthcare, but extraordinary people are working to change that. Cycle Kosovo for Children (CKC), an annual fundraising event, has been helping to provide healthier futures for thousands of people for more than a decade.
Cycling for a Cause
CKC, working in cooperation with Action for Mothers and Children (AMC), raises money for medical equipment and supplies to support infant and child care in public health facilities. Every year, dozens of cyclists join this four-day journey across Kosovo, covering about 500 kilometers and climbing thousands of meters.
The 11th edition of CKC was held from June 12–15. The route took the cyclists from Prishtina through Drenas, Istog and the alpine roads of Prevalla and Brezovica, before returning to the capital. Friends, family and supporters gathered at Miqt Pub to welcome the dedicated cyclists home.
Key Achievements of the 2025 Edition:
The heart of CKC lies not only in the funds raised, but in the stories of the cyclists who make it happen. Follow their journey, get to know them and be inspired by their commitment by watching this documentary.
Thank You and Next Steps
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the donors whose generosity made this year’s success possible. Your support will soon be felt in Drenas, as the new medical equipment is put to use at the Main Family Medical Center, providing a healthier future for babies and their mothers. We invite you to continue following this journey on AMC’s website to see the impact of your generosity come to life. We hope you’ll continue to support CKC!
With gratitude,
Rina Demiri Spahija
Executive Director of Action for Mothers and Children
