Become hope to mothers and children in Kosovo!

Dear friends,

Thank you for continuing to stand with us in 2025. In a year marked by uncertainty across the nonprofit sector, your support ensured that essential care for mothers, newborns and children in Kosovo did not pause. Because of you, families continued to receive the care, knowledge and support they need to thrive.

This year, your generosity helped make possible more than 35,000 home visits, providing health checks, guidance and reassurance to pregnant women, new parents and young children. Over 5,100 parents participated in Mothers’ Classes, gaining the confidence and knowledge to care for their children, while more than 5,000 children were monitored for healthy development. Preventive care remained a priority, with nearly 3,800 cervical cancer screenings conducted, helping women access early detection and life-saving treatment.

Your support also strengthened the healthcare system itself. More than 1,000 healthcare providers were trained, improving the quality of maternal and child care nationwide, and over €800,000 in essential medical aid was delivered to hospitals and family medicine centers.

For children living with chronic conditions, your impact was life-changing. This year, 10 children with Type 1 diabetes received insulin pumps and supplies, giving them freedom from daily injections and a chance at a more normal childhood. As one parent shared:
“Today, the insulin pump has made her life and activities easier. It has also brought ease to us as parents. I feel proud and wholeheartedly thankful.”

Behind every number is a real story. A mother left a class feeling confident instead of uncertain. A newborn received life-saving care at the right moment. A child gained independence and hope. A family felt supported, informed and less alone.
