The BESME INSANI team distributed food baskets to 150 vulnerable families in Syria as part of its commitment to improving food security and supporting households affected by economic hardship.
Each food basket contained a variety of essential food items designed to help families meet their daily nutritional needs. Beneficiaries were selected based on vulnerability criteria, including household size, income level, and overall living conditions.
The assistance provided immediate relief to families struggling to access sufficient food supplies. By covering part of their basic nutritional requirements, the project helped reduce financial pressure and enabled families to direct limited resources toward other urgent needs.
Families welcomed the support and expressed gratitude for receiving food assistance during a period of ongoing economic difficulties. The project contributed to improving food security and enhancing the well-being of vulnerable households.
Food assistance remains a critical component of humanitarian response efforts, helping families maintain access to essential nutrition and strengthening their resilience in the face of continued challenges.
