Executive Summary
The initiative to provide daily, balanced meals to 300 schoolchildren in Niger State has officially launched. The program aims to combat malnutrition, boost school attendance, and support local agriculture. We are currently in the early fundraising stage, actively seeking to build donor momentum to kickstart the food sourcing and preparation phases.
Financial Update
The campaign has received its first contribution and is looking to expand its donor base over the 3-month timeline.
Total Funding Goal: $5,000
Funds Raised to Date: $15
Remaining Goal: $4,985

Current Focus & Next Steps
Because the project is at the beginning of its 3-month funding window, the immediate priority is donor acquisition and community outreach.
Once key funding milestones are reached, the project team will transition to the operational phase, which includes:
Sourcing Produce: Establishing contracts with local farmers to procure rice, beans, vegetables, and cooking oil.
Staff Training: Hiring and training local cooks on safe and efficient meal preparation.
Community Onboarding: Engaging parents and teachers to help monitor and sustain the feeding initiative.
