Wild Tracks & Wonder

Ready for adventure!
Ready for adventure!

The Green Kids recently enjoyed an unforgettable educational day trip to Kuro Camp, where learning came alive through nature, exploration, and fun.

From the moment they arrived, the children were eager to discover more about African wildlife and the natural environment around them. They participated in a game drive, interactive conservation lessons, and exciting outdoor activities designed to spark curiosity and encourage learning.

One of the highlights of the day was learning about animal tracks. Guided by experienced staff, the children explored the bush and examined footprints left behind by different animals. They learned how trackers use these clues to understand animal behavior, movements, and habitats. Watching the children carefully compare tracks and share their observations was a wonderful reminder of how powerful hands-on learning can be.

The group also took part in interactive games and educational discussions that encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for wildlife conservation. At the camp's learning center, they learned about local ecosystems and the important role each species plays in maintaining a healthy environment.

Another memorable moment was visiting a scenic lookout point, where the children used binoculars to observe the landscape and imagine the many animals that call the area home. For many, it was a chance to experience the beauty of nature from a completely new perspective.

The day was filled with excitement, laughter, discovery, and meaningful learning. By connecting directly with nature and wildlife, the children gained valuable knowledge and a stronger appreciation for conservation. Experiences like these help inspire the next generation to care for and protect the natural world.

We are grateful to everyone who makes opportunities like this possible. Your support continues to open doors for children to learn, explore, and build lasting connections with nature.
