Project Overview

In Goma, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, the daily lives of thousands of families, children, patients, and health workers are impacted by a silent crisis: the lack of clean, safe water. Due to volcanic terrain and inadequate infrastructure, many communities have no access to safe drinking water. The consequences are alarming: waterborne diseases, missed school days, overburdened hospitals, and a general decline in living conditions.

Our project aims to deliver over one million liters of clean water to hospitals, schools, orphanages, and health centers. Through our water trucks, we provide regular deliveries of safe water for drinking, cooking, sanitation, and healthcare. This initiative has already started to make a difference, and with the support of GlobalGiving, we are confident we can reach our goal.

Project Objectives

• Provide clean and accessible water to the most vulnerable institutions.
• Reduce the spread of disease linked to unsafe water.
• Improve school attendance by reducing illness-related absences.
• Strengthen healthcare facilities through better hygiene conditions.
• Create lasting impact and reduce dependency on unsafe water sources.

Progress to Date

To date, we have launched the first phase of the project:

• Identifying trainers and participants to ensure long-term impact through awareness and education.
• Preparing logistics for the water delivery system.
• Fundraising in progress, with $50 already raised through GlobalGiving.
• Official launch scheduled for November 2025.
