Dear Donor,
we've got great news! Thanks to your help we were able to successfully implement our emergency aid for deported Afghans from Pakistan.
We reached 218 displaced families from Pakistan with food parcels to make their return to Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, during the cold winter months more bearable. Have a look on our Instagram to find more pictures.
The food parcels distributed by our Afghan partner organization OASE contain 50kg flour, 24kg rice, 10kg beans, 5kg noodles, 2kg tomato paste, 1kg tea, 7kg sugar and 10l oil. Each package supplies a family of five for around two months, meaning that 218 families, or around 1,090 people, will now be able to get through the next few weeks more securely.
Despite this success, the situation for the people of Afghanistan remains devastating: high unemployment, hunger, the collapse of the economy and the tangible climate crisis have long been leading to one of the biggest humanitarian disasters in the world. Therefore, we would be grateful if you told your colleagues or family and friends about our organization and our work.
If you want to stay informed about the latest developments in Afghanistan as well as about our projects there and in Uganda, you can follow us on our Instagram or TikTok.
Thank you once again and all the best!
Celine
