GLOBAL GIVING REPORT [April to June 2013]
The quarterly support [ April to June 2013] has yet again proved our strength of running the care home facility at Hyderabad. The number of HIV infected/affected orphan children has gone up to 63 at present.
The schooling facility provided to these HIV children has improved gradually. The ratio of outside private schooling vs in house schooling is increasing.Although spending has shoot up with this facilitation in outside schooling but net outcome is qualitative education.
To sum up, this quarter has shown long lasting impact of spending on their educational needs. The eldest girl, Rinkusha, has passed out high school with bright colors this academic year. The girl has lost both parents with HIV. Her maternal uncle with poor socio-economic status was unable to keep her and her positive younger brother. This has led them on streets and DESIRE Society has taken up challenge. At present , her dream of getting into professional stream will be persuaded with help of continued helping hand of “GLOBAL GIVING platform”.
Hopefully support generated via “ GlobalGiving level “ will keep on adding to their basic educational status in future too.
