Success Story Of baby Ameena ---- HIV+ girl to lead an extendable potential life span at DESIRE Society.
Mr Ismail and Ms Rehmat were HIV parents of master Aslam and baby Ameena [ 5 Years old ,HIV+ girl]. Mr Ismail, a painter by profession, was getting sick quite often which led him to go for HIV testing. With testing not only he but entire family including children turned out to be positive cases.
Ameena lost her mother few years ago. At that moment her father started looking for HIV children’s care home as he was unable to feed them also. With the help of DESIRE Society health worker in community, he brought both children to DESIRE Society Care Home at IDA Bollaram in Hyderabad, India. Again , he took both of them back for a while for celebrating their religious function at home. Unfortunately, they lost father this year and relatives brought them back to DESIRE care home.
Ameena is improving upon the physical and health status at DESIRE Society. Our medical team is been actively striving to enable better treatment facilities to this baby and her sibling brother. She is cooperative with other inmates. She is enrolled for in campus schooling in Nursery standard. Nutritional and medical balance will secure her potential life span which in turn depends upon GLOBAL GIVING like platforms to continue sharing contributions.
Hope, it is reunited efforts of DESIRE and GLOBAL GIVING donors to take up challenge of serving such 200 HIV+ children at 5 locations of Care Home level across India.
