DIAGNOSIS WITH NO CURE: IRAQI CHILDREN WITH CANCER

During the past three months, the organization helped some children obtain the necessary examinations and medications in hospitals and specialized medical clinics, the most important of which are:

• Two children received a PET scan.
• Three children CT scan
• Seven children received an Antifungal drug.
• Thirteen children received healthy food.
• Seventeen children received books.

We cooperate with some specialized hospitals to help poor children whose parents cannot afford expensive medical supplies.

Our partner hospitals provide cancer medication with a large discount in a systematic manner. Last three months ICHOPE supported children receiving treatment by supplementing nutrition to aid in full recovery and to increase their lifespan.

We provided books and educational materials supplied to give hope for the future. This is especially important for young children who need care and guidance.

Despite the many difficulties faced by families who have children with cancer, the lack of the necessary treatment for them, and the lack of the healthy environment they deserve, our staff works to alleviate these difficulties and facilitate access to treatment and adequate food for the children.
