St Martins School Update and Report - Feb 2024

By Alfred M Aswani | Project Liaison

Computer Class in Session - New Lab
Computer Class in Session - New Lab

St Martins Primary School students have a new computer laboratory thanks to the donations and support we received as 2023 was coming to a close.

Computer classes are the favorite subjects in school and with the new lab, student engagement and skills training will go a long way in ensuring that we fully maximize its use.

We are grateful to all who have made the computer laboratory a reality. In the years we have had computers we have seen a significant improvement in the school's overall performance. An 11% increase in our overall school performance and we are looking forward to improved performances.

Our school is still running on solar power to light the school and pump water for use by more than 1000 students and 100 staff. For the better part of 2023, we had some challenges with Solar power, this has since been rectified and it will help in reducing our reliance on the grid and the high electricity costs.

We will send more updates over time on our progress.

Thank you,

Alfred Aswan
