Digital Inclusion Expands to Northern Morocco

By Zhour IDRISSI AZAMI | Partnerships Manager

Since our last update, we are thrilled to share a major milestone in our journey to bridge the digital divide for Moroccan girls: the launch of a new Digital House in Tangier.

As part of our national strategy to reach underserved communities, Tangier became a natural next step, its dynamic youth population and growing need for accessible digital resources align perfectly with the mission of the Digital Houses. This new hub now joins a growing network of centers across Morocco, offering safe, inclusive spaces for girls aged 8 to 18 to explore technology, develop 21st-century skills, and unlock new educational and professional opportunities.

The Tangier Digital House is now actively providing access to:

  • Computers and reliable internet for learning

  • TITRIT, our dedicated e-learning platform designed for girls

  • Safe community engagement in a female-centered environment

With each new Digital House, we are not only expanding geographically, we are expanding dreams, ambitions, and futures.

Though still early in its activity, the Tangier hub has already welcomed local girls eager to explore coding, digital storytelling, and entrepreneurship. Feedback from families and local leaders has been overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the importance of these safe, educational spaces, especially in regions with limited access to technology.

This expansion would not be possible without your support and the support of L'oreal Fund for Women and HP. Every contribution helps us bring the power of digital education to another community, and another generation of Moroccan girls ready to shape the future.
