Growing up in a low-income neighbourhood, Iraja faced immense challenges. Losing her father at a young age, she grew up without his support, while her mother worked tirelessly to provide for the family.
Despite harsh living conditions and limited opportunities, she remained determined to continue her education, inspired by her mother’s resilience.
A family member’s success with computer courses inspired her to enroll in a local programme, where over seven months she learned MS-Office, billing systems, GST integration and financial management using Tally ERP. Through dedication and practice, she mastered these skills and gained the confidence to pursue employment.
Completing the courses transformed her life. She secured her first job, gained financial independence and began contributing to her family’s income. Her confidence and self-respect grew and she now dreams bigger, planning to advance her technical skills, prepare for government exams and provide better opportunities for her siblings.
