Dear Friend,
At Development Alert we recognize that digital skills are no longer optional but a critical resource in today’s competitive job market. Across rural Uganda, many young people remain excluded from digital opportunities due to limited access to technology, training, and connectivity.
To address this gap, we are working to establish a Rural Digital Skills Hub that will empower young people with practical digital knowledge and tools needed to participate in the modern economy. This initiative will create a safe and accessible learning space where rural youth can gain skills that improve their employability, creativity, and entrepreneurship potential.
Through structured training and mentorship, the hub will focus on building foundational and applied digital competencies that can open doors to employment, freelance work, and online business opportunities.
Key Focus Areas
This initiative is designed to bridge the digital divide and ensure that rural youth are not left behind in a rapidly evolving world.
By establishing this hub, we aim to unlock the potential of young people, equipping them with skills that are essential for future work and innovation.
We invite partners and supporters to join us in making this vision a reality. Together, we can empower rural youth in Uganda with the digital skills they need to thrive in a competitive global economy.
