2025 has continued with more interaction with schools in the Berlin area, we're hoping to see the exhibition of "Evangelische Schule Schönefeld" come to life and be shown in various locations. Also we're discussing to establish project work with "Fichtenberg" school in Berlin - we are hoping for some synergy effects between the two.
I am currently talking to Timothy Snyder's team to get a local copy of some of his articles, I believe they could be a great addition to the class material that we offer. They not only relate to current events but also draw the links to the early 1930s, which the Nono Project was inspired by. We recently also met with Frank Schneider, the former director of the Konzerthaus Berlin, a close acquaintance of Luigi Nono. He did not know about our project before but was literally delighted to hear abiut it.
With this note, the team at Fondazione L'Unione Europea Berlin wishes you a healthy summer! We're hoping to be able to report on more of our school work after the summer months/vacation periods.
Best regards,
Stefan Sander
