It is not that because they are not identified, they have no camps where they stay that Rwanda and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees should continue to argue that these Rwandan refugees are associated to the FDLR fighters. We can now boldly say and engage each person and prove that Rwandan refugees are not associated neither directly nor inderectly to FDLR and that assumptions from Rwanda and UNHCR are not true. This is the very first step and a unique observation since 1996 when the wolrd was made to believe that refugees are fighters against Rwanda.
Still our struggle will continue to advocate for propoer management of refugees in DRC and for their security especially against Rwandan Forces which are present on Congolese territory and which target vulnerable refugees, and lastly bring on table the lasting solutions to refugees.
No one should continue using the plight of poor and vulnerable Rwandan refugees in DRC in order to justify wars and killings of innocent people.
