Violin Classes and Performances

By Sara Nerone | Co-Founder

Dear Friends,

Happy Lunar New Year! Everyone in Vietnam is on their two-week holiday right now, and our staff and students well deserve the break! Since our last update in October, not very much has changed in terms of the pandemic in Vietnam, schools have been opening up and closing down, lots of back and forth, but more people are getting vaccinated every day.

For the last few months, we have luckily been able to do more in-person music classes at our schoolhouse, with the kids training both online and in person in private lessons, with small ensemble classes starting up again. In addition to this, our older violinists recently performed at one of the larger resorts along the beach. The students love this opportunity to perform, especially during the holidays. These photos are from the holiday concert. Our young artists from our art program displayed all their artwork as well. Beautiful music and art!

In addition to lessons, we provided those families in need with food and supplies, and recently provided each family with a Lunar New Year gift that included cookies and candies for the kids, and other food supplies for the families.

Thank you everyone for your continued love and support, and we hope to update you again soon! Happy February!

Sara Nerone
