A symphony of success!

Taking a lesson with her new teacher!
Taking a lesson with her new teacher!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

This summer has been so special for me, as a co-founder of Rock-Paper-Scissors Children’s Fund. After six years away, I finally got to return to Vietnam, and honestly, it was just as magical as always. I especially loved the evenings at our school filled with music, laughter, and so much fun. It was wonderful seeing the program thrive, thanks to our two amazing young music teachers, who put their hearts into every lesson. Right now, we have students coming in weekly to learn violin or guitar. What’s beautiful about this program is that it's not just about learning to play an instrument, it’s more about giving students a space to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and even imagine new futures.

Every time our students grow and develop, we can’t help but see the potential of a future music teacher in each of them. It's always inspiring to witness their passion for music blossom, and we are excited to announce some good news. You may remember Tao Anh from our January report, Tao Anh has just been accepted into university! Although her academic journey may be taking her in new and exciting directions, Anh is deeply committed to her love for music, specifically her passion for the violin. Generously, Rock-Paper-Scissors Children’s Fund will provide Anh with professional lessons throughout the school year to assist her in continuing to pursue the violin.

In addition, Anh has also made plans to return to our program next summer, this time in a different role: as one of our new summer music teachers. We are beyond thrilled to see her stepping into this leadership role, where she will have the opportunity to inspire and guide the next generation of young musicians. These next steps represent a bright future not only for her but also for our students. Stay tuned for all the amazing milestones we are sure to celebrate in the coming year!

Thank you for all of your continued support and have a great fall!

Phoebe
