We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous and unwavering support to the deprived and impoverished patients undergoing treatment at the Government General Hospital in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. These patients, hailing from remote and underserved rural areas of Kurnool and Ananthapur districts in Andhra Pradesh, as well as parts of Mahabubnagar district in Telangana, often face severe challenges in accessing proper healthcare and nutrition.
Since 2009, as part of our regular initiatives, we have been identifying rural patients in the Government General Hospital who are suffering from various illnesses and struggling due to their financial constraints. To address their needs, we have been providing them with a nutritious diet consisting of branded quality milk, seasonal fruits, milk bread, or wheat bread. Many of these patients do not even have sufficient resources to afford essential medicines, let alone nutritious meals.
Our dedicated volunteers regularly visit the hospital wards, including Neurology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Burns units, to ensure these patients receive the care they need. In addition to the nutritious diet, we provide them with blankets and bedsheets to ensure their comfort and aid in their recovery. This consistent support has shown remarkable results, as patients have started recovering from their illnesses faster, with significant improvements in their overall health.
On average, we serve 50 patients in each batch, bringing hope and comfort to those who are most vulnerable. The sincere expressions of gratitude from these patients and their families inspire us to continue this vital work.
