Donate Nutrition to Poor Patients in Govt Hospital

We extend our sincere gratitude for your compassionate support in helping impoverished patients receive essential nutrition while undergoing treatment at the Government General Hospital in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

Many of these patients travel from remote villages in Kurnool and Ananthapur districts of Andhra Pradesh, and parts of Mahabubnagar district in Telangana. Burdened by extreme poverty, they often cannot afford even basic food or medical care during their treatment.

Since 2009, SERUDS has been addressing this urgent need by providing nutritious meals to these patients as part of our ongoing health support initiative. The meals are thoughtfully prepared to aid recovery and include items such as fresh milk, wheat bread, seasonal fruits, and other healthy foods. To further improve their comfort and hygiene, we also distribute blankets and bedsheets to those staying in the hospital.

Due to financial hardship, many patients are left malnourished, which severely affects their healing process. Our initiative aims to bridge this gap by ensuring they receive proper nutrition that supports faster recovery and overall well-being. We are encouraged by the positive outcomes—numerous patients have shown significant health improvements and have shared heartfelt messages of thanks.

This program currently supports around 50 low-income patients per batch, across multiple wards including Neurology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Burns.
