As part of our ongoing humanitarian initiatives, SERUDS supports very poor patients admitted to the Government General Hospital in Kurnool, who travel from across the drought-affected Rayalaseema districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Many of these patients, including those suffering from HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neurological problems, and lactating mothers, face severe malnutrition and starvation during their hospital stay.
During our regular visits, patients and their attendants expressed their struggles for basic nutrition. Responding to their need, we initiated a Nutritious Diet Program, where we distribute food packets to 50 poor patients in each batch. The meal kits include milk, biscuits, fresh fruits, and bread, helping them regain strength and recover faster. In some cases, we also assist with transportation, clothes, and bedsheets after their discharge.
Your generous donations have made it possible for us to bring relief and nourishment to the most vulnerable.
