We are pleased to announce The 2024 Pan African Science and Technology Exhibition, co-hosted by The Christine Merveil Never Back Down Foundation, Inc. and AFRIMERGE, was a resounding success. The event, held on November 9, 2024, in Abuja, Nigeria, attracted 164 in-person attendees and 25 virtual participants from across Africa and beyond.
With 21 exhibitors, the exhibition showcased groundbreaking innovations with the power to change lives—from drones for surveillance and delivery, to hearing aids for the deaf, eye glasses for the blind, security alarms, and even a stove that uses condemned oil. These projects are not just about technology; they represent hope, progress, and a brighter future for Africa.
This year’s theme, “Rethinking and Driving African Development Issues with Technology,” emphasized the urgent need to harness the power of innovation to solve Africa’s most pressing challenges. The event served as a reminder that technology is not just a tool but a key to unlocking sustainable growth and empowering communities across the continent.
As we reflect on the incredible innovations presented, we know this is only the beginning. With your continued support, we will keep pushing boundaries, equipping young minds with the resources to drive lasting change, and creating a future full of possibilities for Africa.
Thank you for being a part of this transformative journey.
