Benoni is still in high school and doing well with his studies, yet early in 2022 he was playing soccer and the ball hit him in the face and broke his two front teeth. When I saw him in April 2022, his smile was so big inside but he was self-conscious and made every attempt to keep his mouth closed for smiles. Part of what Rwanda-one4one focuses on is medical concerns and after learning about Benoni's issue we hoped to get his tooth repaired. He is a handsome young man and he needed his health and pride back.
In March 2023, Raynor Dental in Keene, NH, generously offered to support the cost to repair Benoni's two front teeth through a dentist in Rwanda. The process went smoothly and his beaming smile is back!
Benoni and his mother are eternally grateful for this medical support.
Our work with marginalized families in Rwanda is not possible without your kindness and support. Thank you!
