One of Rwanda-one4one's missions is to offer financial assistance, when possible, to address medical issues for the families in our Rwandan community.
Recently, it was brought to our attention that Sandrine, a student in our education program, had poor marks, which was not typical fer her performance. We reached out to the parents, asking what might be going on. They shared that she was suffering from headaches due to a vision issue and was not able to comprehend her studies well. The family has very little money and an appointment with the eye doctor was a luxury they couldn't afford.
We gave the parents the okay to meet with an eye doctor. Sandrine was tested and found to need corrective glasses for reading. She was fitted and now can do her studies without headaches.
A simple fix with an enormous benefit.
Thanks to your generous support, we can make life better for these people in so many ways.
