As time passes, NuDay is continuing to evacuate those displaced by the earthquake, digging up rubble to reach any and all civilians. Our team is persisting: we know that the longer we wait, the more vulnerabilities persist.
Once we evacuate civilians, we transport them immediately to a waiting ambulance to provide them with oxygen on their way to our partner medical facilities, where doctors assess and treat patients. Facilities are overwhelmed with the number of patients in need, and NuDay is doing our best to keep them supplied with medical cots, bedding, medical equipment, and wound care items. We're also working to organize immediate aid shipments into Syria to resupply facilities.
Our teams have also been supporting emergency makeshift shelters, setting up facilities with bedding and mattresses to keep families safe. We are doing everything to respond efficiently.
Despite the situation, our team is working quickly and saving lives. We couldn't do this without your support. Your donations are securing fuel for transportation and evacuations, medical assistance, ensuring that we have supplies for emergency shelters, and that we can distribute humanitarian aid as needed.
Thank you - and help us keep the impact going. Because we're all working for a safe Syria.
