We are continuing the construction progress for the Children's Home for Ebola survivors in Sierra Leone. We have purchased granite to build the retaining wall and to make lintels to support the windows and door frames. The builders are molding blocks and building up the walls. As the construction continues, we are beginning to think about the children who will occupy the home. They have been through so much, and we are excited to finish their new home as soon as we can. Our focus during the build has been trying to understand the aftermath of Ebola on the regular citizens of that country. Please click on the link at the bottom of this article for more insight to everyday life in Ebola-affected areas of Sierra Leone.
Thank you for your continued support of this project.
