We made it! Thanks to your precious donations have picked up 430 $ and have succeeded in installing not one, but well two new ovens Mogogo!
Our local referents, sisters of S.Anna, has not wasted time and, after having given the beautiful news to the fortunate families beneficiaries, they have provided to purchase the whole necessary material for the construction.
The ovens are built with the women. In Eritrea the woman is often the pivot of the family: because of the lever to serve in the military, husbands are often absent for long periods and they perceive a pay least and sporadic licenses, leaving the responsibility in the hands of their wives. Just for this, the idea is that to teach the technique to mothers so that to make them able to continue the activity in perfect autonomy and, in future perspective, to succeed in also earning an economic entrance.
Mogogo, besides preventing a lot of respiratory illnesses and to the eyes, it guarantees a great energetic output and therefore a smaller consumption, avoiding so to the women to cross continuously long distances for the harvest of firewood.
Ecological ovens is not only a project that aims to reduce the domestic pollution and to improve the hygienic conditions, but wants to sustain and to promote the woman, true point of reference of the country!
