Happy New Year to you and your family! We are incredibly grateful to all our donors this year and during our GivingTuesday campaign. Your kind contributions made 2024 a successful year in support of mothers and children in need. Furthermore, GlobalGiving donated a $5,000 emergency grant from their East Africa Hunger Relief Fund to help us support communities in Tigray, especially women and children affected by food insecurity, violence from the ongoing conflict, and displacement from their homes.
Together, we were able to provide economic empowerment for impoverished mothers in the cities of Wukro and Maichew in Tigray, including job training, full equipment, and transportation. We provided their 1,100 vulnerable children with school necessities and baked bread for breakfast. We are also working on opening our economic empowerment program in Adwa, Tigray.
We can’t wait to help more families together with you. Because of you, there is more to come for women leading their households in Tigray. Thank you for your continued support this holiday season and onward.
